How a lesson works

You try first, then you check

In my slides the Chinese stays hidden. You say it first, then check.

  • Lesson 04 · Restaurant

    What do you recommend?

  • Lesson 08 · Directions

Sorry, I'm a little lost. Can you help me?

  • Lesson 10 · Travel Problems

My flight was cancelled. What should I do?

About me

How I learned English

I grew up in Chaozhou and learned English at school. I knew the grammar, but I froze whenever I had to speak.

Then I lived in the United States, and my husband is American, so I used English every day. What that trained was speaking, not vocabulary.

  • Ask in Chinese

If you're lost, just ask. I'll explain in Chinese.

  • Everyday English

Ordering, directions, small talk. Sentences you'll use.

  • I know the usual mistakes

Word order, tenses, the th sound.
